Article Abstract:

The results of a survey of job satisfaction among UK graduates are presented. It was found that those who studied agriculture and medicine reported greatest job satisfaction later in their careers, while job satisfaction was lowest among those who studied architecture.

The use of pay scales in the British public sector is examined in detail. This salary system is constant across the country, but private salaries vary greatly from region to region. This can make it difficult to recruit public sector workers in more expensive areas.

We need road tolls to end our transport misery
