His opponents underestimate William Hague at their peril

Article Abstract:

UK Conservative party leader William Hague has proved himself to be a skillful and able political operator. However, he is receiving very little media attention because Prime Minister Tony Blair is receiving so much. Ordinary people have misconceptions about his background, and only four in 10 feel that he is proving a good leader of the Conservative party. It is possible that the Conservative party will remove Hague if it loses the next election, but there is still time for him to prove his worth.

The dream ticket Hague won't change his mind on

Article Abstract:

William Hague, who was Secretary of State for Wales under the UK's Conservative government, is widely regarded as having a good chance of becoming the party's next leader. He is only 34, but has already had an impressive political career. He gained respect for the way in which he took is work in Wales very seriously, and has gained acceptance in Welsh society. This has been helped by his engagement to Ffion Jenkins, who comes from an influential Welsh-speaking family.
