Article Abstract:

Paul Joyce, whose sister Penny Haigh won 1.3 million pounds sterling in a Lottery family syndicate in Mar 1996, has not found it hard to accept that his sister is now wealthy. She has helped him out financially, and he has not hesitated to accept this help. She does not feel that her Lottery win has changed her relationship with her brother, and was happy to share her money with him, having become accustomed to sharing at a very early age.

'I'd never, ever, forgotten her.' (Joyce Moulding and brother Joseph McGuiggan discuss reunion)(A Family Affair)

Article Abstract:

Being reunited with a relative with whom you have lost contact is a great joy, according to Joseph McGuiggan, who has re-established contact with his sister Joyce Moulding after more than 50 years. He is very glad to have found his sister again, but feels sad they have missed out on spending many years together. His sister was initially very nervous about meeting him again, but she is now enjoying working with him to find other relatives.

It is very enjoyable to spend money on cars and clothes, according to Viv Nicholson, who won 152,319 pounds sterling on the Pools in 1961. She recalls that she realized that she had spent all her money around four years after winning, but she did not really have any regrets. She does not feel that saving money has ever been in her nature, and continues to feel very attracted to spending money.
