It's a fashion statement, and nothing more

Article Abstract:

Trying bisexuality is being hailed as the key new fashion trend. In fact, 'bi-try' is not actually very new at all. If bi-try involves anything more than standard media hype, then it must be concluded that everybody is becoming less different from others and more androgynous. However, for many people who are still confused about their sexual identity, the cultural importance of the fashionable bisexuals must be nothing at all. Bi-try can be seen as merely self-indulgent role play in a society in which those who genuinely feel that they are homosexual dare not admit it.

Don't turn a crisis into a drama

Article Abstract:

Granada Television plans to make the story of Jeff and Jennifer Bramley, who abducted their foster children Jade and Hannah Bennett, into a drama. There is a strong danger that the drama will have a negative impact on two young girls who have already experienced much trauma in their lives. Much of the responsibility for robbing these girls of their privacy lies with the Bramleys. Their abduction of Jade and Hannah was an act of selfishness. They have subsequently compounded this by seeking publicity.
