Labour's slippery offering to the people of Scotland

Article Abstract:

Scottish people are finding it very difficult to decide how to vote in the forthcoming referendum on devolution because the UK government has failed to provide them with all the information they require to make an informed choice. No details have been given about how a devolved Scottish parliament would operate, for example, and there are still considerable uncertainties surrounding taxation in Scotland. By omitting details of this kind, the government is showing that it does not really trust voters, and this in turn encourages voters not to trust the government.

Her need to allow her body to heal gradually is discussed, and advice is given to others suffering the after-effects of brain injury.

Where will we be in 2010? Ask the experts

Article Abstract:

Futurologists are becoming increasingly accepted into mainstream society. They run efficient businesses, and are able to charge high prices for their services. The forthcoming Millennium has played a particular role in giving futurology greater respectability. Futurologists now derive authority from their expertise, and are willing to make very specific predictions about issues to which ordinary people can relate.
