Article Abstract:

Clinton Cards founder Don Lewin believes that his son Clinton, after whom the firm was named, is very talented at selecting the best products. However, he feels that Clinton tends to want to progress too quickly, failing to take enough time over decisions. Clinton feels that the key element of any retail business is knowing the customers. This is why he continues to visit stores and to talk to employees. He feels that his youth and his father's wisdom have been a good combination.
