Article Abstract:
A new edition of James Joyce's 'Ulysses' which is to be published shortly by Picador to mark the 75th anniversary of the first publication of this novel is already attracting considerable controversy. Joyce specialist Lawrence Rainey has even gone as far as to accuse Danis Rose, Picador's editor, of despotism. To some observers, there will never be a perfect text of 'Ulysses,' a novel which has been extremely influential because of its very detailed presentation of sensations and emotions.

Article Abstract:

Proteins play an absolutely vital role in living organisms, and there can be very serious consequences when the folding process does not operate correctly. It is now believed that many diseases, including cystic fibrosis and Alzheimer's, are the result of proteins misfolding.
