Nothing like the real thing

Article Abstract:

It is common for people to put false information on their CV, according to a survey undertaken by the Association of Search and Selection Consultants. Some people merely stretch the truth a little, possibly in order to conceal periods of unemployment, while others go much further, failing to reveal bankruptcy or convictions for fraud. A culture of embellishment seems to have emerged, and some observers fear that this can in turn lead to full-scale fraud.
