Outlandish regiment

Article Abstract:

Actor John Sessions, who is currently staging a one-man show at the Royal Academy entitled 'Leighton Live,' which deals with the life and times of eminent Victorian Lord Leighton, found it difficult to gain inspiration for the central character. However, he did not have difficulties with the supporting characters, all of whom he impersonates. These include Holman Hunt, Delacroix and Thomas Carlyle. One of the main attractions of the show is the recognition of real-life counterparts in these historical figures.
