Paul McKee

Television executive and psephologist Paul McKee graduated in Mathematics from Imperial College, London, England. He became general manager of computing services at English Electric, but in the 1960s began to work with ITN. He joined ITN permanently in 1974, and played a key role at ITN throughout the 1970s and 1980s. He transferred to Yorkshire Television in 1986. He developed his extensive interests in computing and media, and advised the government on the conduct of referendums.

Peter Allen
Article Abstract:
Steel manager Peter Allen studied Chemistry at Birmingham University and then took up a career in management. He became works director at the Port Talbot plant in South Wales at the age of 41. He gained a strong reputation for personal kindness and fair management, and this was to greatly benefit him during his career. He was involved with the British Rail board and the West Wales Training and Enterprise Council.

Richard Dunn
Article Abstract:
Television executive Richard Dunn managed Swindon Viewpoint, a local cable company, in the 1970s before joining mainstream broadcasting. He became assistant to Jeremy Isaacs, Director of Programmes at Thames Television, and then became Director of Production. He succeeded Bryan Cowgill as head of Thames Television's board in 1985, and was Managing Director of Pearson Television Holdings between 1993 and 1995.
