Phone companies face action on tariff details

Article Abstract:

The pricing structures used by the UK's different telephone companies are so complicated and confused that it is very difficult for customers to make a clear comparison between them. This is according to David Edmonds, who recently took over as the new head of the UK telecoms regulator Oftel. He has warned companies that unless they make their pricing structures clearer and more open to comparison he will force them to act through regulation.
