Retailers flock to Dallas and Chicago for year-end shows

Article Abstract:

Pet retailers' attendance at the Pets Exposition and Trade Show-Texas reached 1,200, with 101 exhibitors showing products at 202 booths. Seminar attendance was higher in 1992 than in the previous year. Topics covered were livestock, avian health, and herptiles. The Backer Christmas Trade Show in Illinois attracted more buyers and exhibitors than in 1991, but final attendance figures are still unavailable. The Backer seminars also tackled livestock and avian health, with a session on tropical fish handling added.
