Rock 'n' roll is here to stay. For good

Article Abstract:

Cleveland, the largest city in Ohio, is generally very unattractive. However, it is worth visiting simply for its rock and roll heritage. A new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum have opened there recently, and they could serve to revive the city's fortunes before it is lost from the tourist map completely. At one time, it attracted many rock and roll performers, and there was a general feeling that trends in Cleveland determined what would happen on the national rock and roll scene.

Capital games

Article Abstract:

It is particularly exciting to visit Washington, DC, in the run-up to presidential and congressional elections. It is worth going there in October, when there are few tourists but the weather is still good. The city has many close associations with government, and features some very interesting monuments. It offers a wide range of experiences, and is closely connected with the history of the US.
