The Grand Buddha at Leshan, Sichuan province, China, is carved into the cliff-face at the meeting point of two rivers. It was commissioned by monks in the 8th century, and is 71 mt high. Behind the Grand Buddha, known as 'Dafo,' visitors will find the Grand Buddha Temple. Visitors to this area should also see the Mahaoya Tomb Museum, where there are some extremely interesting burial relics. Elsewhere in Sichuan province, attractions include the Panda Breeding Centre.

Article Abstract:

Visitors to Prague, Czech Republic, will not find much local colour in U Fleku, which claims to be the oldest beer pub in the world. However, there is a welcoming atmosphere in U Cerneho Vola, where local people drink Kozel (Goat) beer and eat traditional strong, spicy goat cheese. Here, a large mug of beer costs only 8.40 crowns, compared with 39 crowns at U Fleku. Local people drink a great deal of beer, and ordering coffee in a pub would be regarded as strange.
