Roddy McDowall

Actor Roddy McDowall made his screen debut at the age of nine in the 1938 film 'Murder in the Family.' He was to subsequently appear in a further 16 British films. He left the UK for the US in 1940, and was signed by 20th Century Fox to appear in 'How Green Was My Valley.' He made one of his best-remembered films, 'Lassie Come Home,' in 1943. He was released from his Fox contract in the mid-1940s, and turned to the theatre.

Actor George Montgomery was born in Brady, MT, in 1916. He majored in interior decorating at the University of Montana, but dropped out of college in 1935 to seek work in Hollywood. His first major role was in the serial 'The Lone Ranger' in 1938.
