Secure cover against outrageous fortune

Article Abstract:

Organisers of social events such as summer fetes and gymkhanas are in danger of becoming the subject of large compensation claims if someone attending the event is the victim of an accident. It is therefore important to have adequate insurance cover. The cheapest premium is offered by Conrhill, which charges 70 pounds sterling for up to 1 million pounds sterling for flower shows, barbecues or fetes lasting less than two days. For one day events, liability insurance cover will cost at least 100 pounds sterling.

Open season for pickpockets and credit-card thieves

Article Abstract:

Theft of credit cards tends to rise dramatically in the summer months, and is a particular danger for people travelling abroad, especially to Spain. In many cases, the victims fail to report the incident until at least 24 hours later, by which time the thief will have used the card. It is worth considering using the services of Sentinel or Card Protection Plan, organisations which will store all the client's credit card details and cancel a stolen card immediately.
