Sex & candy in the playground

Article Abstract:

The members of music group Marcy Playground still seem rather bemused by the fact their debut album was so successful. They are flattered by the fact that people want to buy their music, but also find it very strange. The album was particularly successful because of the song 'Sex & Candy,' which combines American rock with anglophile sensibility. Their music is part of a trend for the American alternative sector to become more reasonable and thoughtful in its view of life. The group is now performing for the first time in London, England.
