Does this war show that Nato no longer has a serious military role?
Article Abstract:
Nato's role seems to have become more political and less military. This is reflected in the fact that the US is not really using Nato at all in its military action against Afghanistan. The more political Nato becomes, the easier it will be for Russia to agree to Nato expansion and to establish closer links of its own.
