'OK, so we're mad to row the Atlantic.' (Kate Dawson and Mandy Clarke plan to be the first women to row the Atlantic)(Interview)

Article Abstract:

Women generally accommodate each other, according to Kate Dawson, who is planning to enter Chay Blyth's Atlantic Rowing Race in Oct 1997 with Mandy Clarke. The two women feel that they will be able to get on well together, even though they will be rowing for 12 hours a day and will be under great physical pressure. They hope to be the first women to row across the Atlantic, but recognise that there are considerable risks involved.

Give a guy a break

Article Abstract:

The feminist movement makes the mistake of placing great emphasis on victimhood, according to Warren Farrell, who was once a keen feminist but has now rejected the movement. He believes that men bear heavy burdens of responsibility and obligation, but have no real power. Indeed, in the post-feminist generation it is women who have all the power. He is now focusing on confronting men with their misguided definition of power.
