'It felt as if he had seduced me.' (mishandling by therapists)

Article Abstract:

Therapists build up relationships with their clients so if they move on the clients can be left in a state of grief and misery. The therapist sometimes cause clients to become dependent on them and addiction may occur. Transference, where the client-counsellor relationship is similar to the child-parent relationship, is considered a creative analytical tool. Some counsellors are not trained in how to end a relationship properly. A self-help group has been started in the East Midlands, England.

'My daughter was dead and all the legal system had done was slap a wrist.' (driver who caused the death of a baby charged only with careless driving)

Article Abstract:

The recent case of a driver who caused the death of a five-month-old girl when his car skidded and crashed head-on into another and was then charged only with the minor offence of reckless driving has highlighted gaps in the legal system in the UK. In other countries, drivers in cases of this kind are routinely charged with manslaughter, but this rarely happens in the UK. Magistrates tend to look at the driving itself, rather than any consequences.
