It was developed by Richard Wilsher and Chairman of Westfield Chris Smith. Wilsher is a former racing driver and built the engine. The Westfield diesel sports car can do 60 miles to the gallon and is environmentally-friendly. It accelerates from 50 to 70 miles per hour in 6.1 seconds. Westfield claims that it can produce the car for 12,000 pounds sterling. It believes that diesel sports cars have a great future as fuel will become more expensive in the future.

Are you being serviced?

Article Abstract:

Car servicing is the nightmare of most car owners. However, neglect results in engine sludge and low resale value. Franchise automobile dealers offer reliable but expensive service. Fastfit and village garages are cheaper and more accessible but are also sometimes unscrupulous. It is best to buy a simple, popular model car and have it serviced regularly. Motorists should select garages carefully, talk to the mechanic directly and always read the bill.

The Automobile Association (AA) and Honda UK jointly organise Women on Wheels courses in the catchment areas of the manufacturer's dealers. The women practise changing a wheel.
