The last chapter of the Royal fairy tale

Article Abstract:

The UK Royal Family seems to be completely unable to interpret the meaning of the widespread public grief at the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. Many people are indignant at the Royal Family's reaction to the tragedy, feeling that the Queen and Prince Charles in particular should be showing their feelings in public, rather than hiding away. The monarchy seems to be turning into the enemy of the people, with some observers fearing that the Royal Family, having in effect killed Diana, Princess of Wales, will now ruin the lives of her sons.

Article Abstract:

Diana, Princess of Wales, was born into an aristocratic family where there was a strong musical tradition. Her parents separated when she was only six years old, and she and her siblings became the focus for a lengthy battle between her parents. She did not excel academically at school, but gained a long-lasting interest in dancing, tennis and swimming. She married Prince Charles in Jul 1981 at the age of 19, but soon became aware that the marriage would not be a happy one.
