Third time lucky Patsy?

Article Abstract:

Reports that Patsy Kensit is to marry Liam Gallagher have been interpreted rather negatively in the media. Many journalists have enjoyed being able to cover the more tempestuous aspects of her relationships, and feel cheated by the news that she is now to settle down to a quiet married life. She is actually very underrated as an actress, and has a caring, down-to-earth personality. Journalists prefer to overlook her positive points, as well as those of Gallagher, as only conflict and torment make good press reports.

Eternal: God's girls?

Article Abstract:

The members of pop group Eternal have a very sexy on-stage image, but emphasise that they still have firm religious beliefs. They all come from a religious background, and first had contact with gospel music. They believe that music can combine sensuality and spirituality, and that passionate music calls for a passionate performance. They are determined that they will never perform in a way which makes them feel uncomfortable, and they are now responsible for their own styling.

On the road with Big Jon

Article Abstract:

Heavy metal band Bon Jovi seems to have changed considerably since the 1980s, when it symbolised the worst excesses of heavy metal culture. The band is now much more mainstream, and recently devoted a day to 'busking' in Glasgow, Cardiff and London's South Bank, something it would not have done in the past. Its members are not ashamed of their humble origins, and have attracted audiences by coming across as working class heroes.
