Trinidad three hanged despite pleas,

Article Abstract:

Trinidad and Tobago has hanged three men convicted of murder, despite international calls for the sentences to be commuted. Further hangings are expected. Dole Chadee, the first to hang, was a gang leader who had become rich from trading in cocaine, and he was convicted of multiple murder. There is support for the death penalty in Trinidad and Tobago due to a high level of crime and violence which has been connected to drug trafficking. The Privy Council in Britain is still used by the islands, and this is resented as part of the colonial past.

In the case of Time Warner, there is also concern about its use of rap music with distasteful lyrics. Disney is in a strong financial position, and can therefore withstand criticism, but this is not the case with Time Warner.
