UK: NORTHERN LEISURE REVEALS STRATEGY

Article Abstract:

Northern Leisure will target youngsters aged 14 to 17 with a number of events under the UK Club Culture banner. The leading UK-based night-club operator will hold the events between around 7pm and 11pm around eight times per year and by end-summer 2000 aims to offer them across around 50 venues. Northern Leisure finance director, Matthew Streets, believes that trendy youngsters will be attracted by the group's method of gleaning additional revenue even though alcohol will not be available.
