US bomb 'wounds' new Afghan leader

A satellite-guided bomb intended to target Taliban and al-Qa'ida positions near Kandahar, Afghanistan, strayed off course, killing three US special forces troops and five anti-Taliban tribal soldiers. It also slightly wounded Pashtun leader Hamid Karzai, who shortly afterwards was appointed Chm of Afghanistan's new interim administration.
