Vivid, dark, powerful and magnificent - but wrong

Article Abstract:

Playwright Harold Pinter has made an eloquent and bitter attack on Nato military action in Kosovo, Yugoslavia. The fact that one of the UK's leading writers has spoken out on this conflict is to be welcomed, as is the fact that the BBC allocated him prime airtime. However, Pinter distorted reality in a much more extreme way than any of those he criticized. He is very alert to every nuance of violence and victimhood, but seems to be totally unaware of what has really been happening to the ethnic Albanians in Kosovo.

An army trains to restore Milosevic's human ammunition to their homes

Article Abstract:

British troops in Macedonia are now training intensively for a possible ground invasion of Kosovo, Yugoslavia, to implement a peace agreement. These troops recognize that Nato's credibility is now at stake and that allowing Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic to defeat Nato would encourage dictators in other parts of the world. Many of them have worked in the camps set up for ethnic Albanian refugees from Kosovo, and want to ensure that no further atrocities are committed.
