Article Abstract:
The Cornish language has been officially accepted with the recognition of examinations in Cornish by the Schools Curriculum Assessment Authority of the United Kingdom. There are divisions among experts in the language as to which version should be used. The language ceased to be widely used in the 18th century, and a medieval version is backed by one camp, while the other is in favor of a more modern form of the language. There are few Cornish speakers away from the academic arguments.

Swampy's University of Action
Article Abstract:
Environmental activists are starting to increasingly capture the public imagination and attract media attention in the UK. Most recently, there has been strong interest in Swampy, an activist who spend 167 hours underground in an effort to prevent the planned extension of the A30. Some activists travel around the UK from protest to protest, and plan their action very carefully. However, others simply become involved in one protest and then return to their families.
