Where there's a quill there's a way

Article Abstract:

There are still very mixed views among scientists about the evolution of flight. This debate on this issue is being fuelled by the discovery of six very high quality specimens of early bird-like dinosaurs in Sihetun, China. These fossils blur the clear distinctions between birds and dinosaurs, and are forcing scientists to reassess these categories. It is not yet possible to state that birds are merely evolved dinosaurs, but this argument is becoming more convincing as more dinosaurs with feathers are discovered.
