Whirr-click! I really don't need a 2,000 pounds sterling computer for my show

Article Abstract:

Comedian and writer Dave Gorman feels that his 1970s Hanimex slide projector plays an important part in his show. He likes the fact that he has full control over what happens in his show, rather than the pace of the show being dictated by a stage manager. He also enjoys hearing the whirring sound the slide projector makes. He also uses an overhead projector which he finds attractive because it folds up very small.
