The director exits. Will it spoil the picture?

Article Abstract:

The National Film and Television School is facing financial difficulties and the enforced retirement of its founder and director, Colin Young. The school has an excellent reputation but the government insists that it should be mainly privately funded. With the Eavy Levy abolished, major cinema owners have provided funds, and until recently, the ITV franchises, but there is still a shortfall. Young, forced to retire at 65, hopes to set up a European film studio with the school's chairman, David Puttnam.
