Alan Titchmarsh: Exposed!

Article Abstract:

It is very flattering to attract so much attention from women, according to Alan Titchmarsh, presenter of television and radio gardening programmes. He has also become a novelist, with his first novel due to published in autumn 1998. He welcomed the opportunity to give free rein to his imagination while writing the novel, as all his other activities are very practical. He finds repetitive work boring, but does try to reply to the large amount of correspondence he receives. He became interested in gardening at an early age, but did not appear on television until 1983.

He does not regard himself as a sex symbol, but enjoys receiving letters from fans. He does not feel that leaving school with no qualifications, as he did, is necessarily wise, but also believes that passion and enthusiasm form the basis for success in life.
