Your move, Mr Chow

Article Abstract:

Leadership plays an integral part in successful management, according to engineering firm GKN Chief Executive Chung Kong Chow. He believes that global consolidation is making leadership even more important. He recognizes that corporate culture cannot be changed very rapidly, but feels that his 'Way Forward' programme is bringing changes after two and a half years. He feels that outside factors have restricted his options so far, and this is why his strategy has been quite cautious.
