Alkylphenolic compounds in edible molluscs of the Adriatic Sea (Italy)

Article Abstract:

Edible molluscs including mussels, cuttlefishes, squids, and clams are collected off the coast of Italy in the Adriatic Sea and measured for alkylphenol contamination. Levels of nonylphenol, octylphenol, and their ethoxylates in the molluscs are charted for coastal region in the north, center, and south of the Italian coast.

Investigation of the photocatalytic activity of TiO(sub 2)-polyometalate systems

Article Abstract:

The semiconductor photocatalyst combination of TiO(sub 2)-polyoxmetalate (POM) anions is used to oxidate 1,2-dichlorobenzene (DCB). DCB degradation is graphed in the presence of different POM anions on a TiO(sub 2) surface.
