An exploratory analysis of software piracy using cross-cultural data

Article Abstract:

Three cultural predictors of attitude towards software piracy that include Long Term Orientation, Power Distance, and Individualism-Collectivism are examined. The results show that though the three constructs are significant predicators of attitude towards piracy, Long Term Orientation is shown to be a strong predictor.
