Acquisitions and alliances in the aerospace industry: an unusual triad

Article Abstract:

The key Airbus Industrie technology acquisition and business development activities in the commercial aviation sector are traced by examining comparable Lockheed Martin activities in the military aviation. It was found that both major players in commercial aviation utilize alliance, while acquisitions were selected as the principal strategies in the military aviation industry.

Functions and responsibilities of marketing auditors in measuring organizational performance

The functions and responsibilities of marketing auditors are analyzed to evaluate the performance of the organizations. It was observed that correct marketing audits would provide management with a useful and analytical tool for evaluating, measuring, motivating and revising management auditors.
