Application of loglinear modelling to impatient data for temporomandibular joint disorder claimants

Article Abstract:

Evaluation of loglinear modeling efforts in describing inpatient data of temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) claimants reveals that major diagnostic categories and TMD were not independent variables. The study also points out that 'neoplasm', 'pregnancy' and 'digestive system' all showed direct relationships with TMD and thereby reveals that healthcare providers can use medical informatics to better understand TMD and its relationship with disorders that lead to patient hospitalization.

The information asymmetry and valuation effects on health care technology

Article Abstract:

Analysis of information asymmetry effects on for-profit hospital capital formation for health technology acquisition reveals that the level of information asymmetry increases the drop in a firm's stock price at or near the announcement date. The study focuses on abnormal cashflow returns and risk of the market as key factors and reveals that information asymmetry does have an adverse effect on technology acquisition.
