Driving school instructor Terry Earwood claims that drivers who trust their cars are willing to use more of their car's performance potential to avoid accidents and other adverse situations than drivers who do not trust their cars. Safety features of Bayerische Motoren Werke AG cars are discussed.

Microwave Doppler foils thieves

Rover Group Ltd.'s new MG-F Roadster is provided with a microwave Doppler radar capable of sensing any unauthorized intrusion into the vehicle. The system is controlled by a software that responds only to slow and steady movements, preventing the occurrence of false alarms.

Hyundai steps out
