Bush's mistake and Kennedy's error: Self-deception proves itself to be more powerful than deception

Article Abstract:

The article discusses the war in Iraq which has been going on since 2003 and which has cost the U.S. at least three thousand lives and $73 billion a year. A comparison of the U.S. President George W. Bush and former late U.S. President John F. Kennedy has also been made regarding their errors and mistakes relating to public issues in the U.S.

The explanation regarding the limitations of intelligence reports by the United States Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld at a news briefing on February 12, 2002 was quoted twice at the World Summit on Evolution. His explanation was quoted for explaining the origins of life and the theory of evolution by Charles Darwin.
