Enzymatic hydrogelation of small molecules

Article Abstract:

The importance and usage of different enzymes in triggering and controlling the self-assembly of small molecules for hydrogelation process are discussed. Such enzymatic hydrogelation of small molecules is found to be extremely beneficial for the development of new biomaterials and therapeutics.

Communication pathways between the nucleotide pocket and distal regulatory sites in protein kinases

Article Abstract:

Protein kinases control cellular processes through the ATP-dependent phosphorylation of specific amino acids on target proteins. Two protein kinases, cAMP-dependent protein kinase and the C-terminal Src kinase are presented as paradigms for the serine threonine and tyrosine-specific families.
