Ecuador forest birds

Article Abstract:

The project aims to investigate the ecology of birds to save them and their dwindling tropical forest habitat. Dr. Dusty Becker and his project team will survey the remote tropical forest of Tangara Reserve in the Andes to track seasonal shifts in bird populations, including endangered Woodstar hummingbirds and Andean cocks-of-the-rock.

India's sacred groves

Article Abstract:

The project surveys Indian sacred groves to restore these valuable forest resources and the biodiversity they protect. Dr. Narayana Desai and his project team worked in initial survey of soils, vegetation, birds, insects, and other animals, either in Surla's sacred grove or in 'reference' grove in Keri.
