Visible light-induced degradation of carbon tetrachloride on dye-sensitized TiO2

Article Abstract:

Authors investigated the application of the photocatalyst TiO(sub2) with tris ruthenium-(II) to CCI(sub4) degradation under irradiation. The sensitized titanium dioxide initiated reductive degradation of CCI(sub4), a finding which may prove useful in future remediation of polluted air or water.
