Effects of pH and applied potential on photocurrent and oxidation rate of saline solutions of formic acid in a photocatalytic reactor

Article Abstract:

Researchers from the University of Wisconsin determined the degradation rated of formic acid in the presence of NaCl. Variations in pH affect the photoelectric and photoelectrocatalytic degradation of formic acid.

Catalytic and photocatalytic oxidation on ethylene on titania-based thin-films

Article Abstract:

This study was used to examine the effect of reaction temperature on the catalytic and photocatalytic oxidation of ethylene on unplatinized and platinized versions of a TiO2/ZrO2 mixed-oxide thin-film catalyst. The study is broken down into an introduction, a discussion of the experiments and its results. Various tables and graphs accompany the article.
