Enforcing habits

Article Abstract:

UK's air pollution control industry is not flourishing as expected compared to the US and Germany. Growth in the industry is stultified by the lack of environmental law enforcement of local authorities and the leniency of courts in punishing gross offenders. To promote development of the pollution control industry, the Environmental Industries Commission (EIC) has launched its Export Services Co (ESC). With the EIC-ESC, manufacturers of environmental technologies can easily market their products internationally.

Article Abstract:

Hewlett Packard produces large-format printers for producing high-quality paper drawings for the CAD market at its facility in Barcelona, Spain. Printers are assembled in U-shaped production lines by hand. An electric control unit is used to test the sub systems of plotters during assembly while employees wear special footwear to prevent static charge buildup. Downtime is also reduced by cooperation between design and production teams.
