Enterprise support system architecture: Integrating DSS, EIS, and simulation technologies

Article Abstract:

A model that integrates information and simulation technologies and improves the impact of the managerial decisions on strategic business process improvements has been detailed. The need to pay greater attention to information and simulation technologies by the top executives and strategic managers due to the complexibility and unpredictability of global environment has enabled them to access information on business processes at all organizational levels.

The role of participative management in the implementation of total quality management programs

Article Abstract:

Participative management techniques play a very limited role in the implementation of total quality management (TQM). Utilization of a framework designed to analyze 20 case studies of TQM revealed that participation of employees in the maintenance of a TQM program usually occurs through team membership. Despite its limited role, participative management techniques still contribute to the enhancement of productivity.

Participative development and training for business processes in industry: review of 88 simulation games

Social simulation games are often used as tools in the development of business. Using 32 case studies 88 simulation games were studied and the results and implications discussed.
