Acquiring technology or technological knowledge from other companies has increased in the recent years due to licensing. A study is presented to help firms decide whether they should enter the technology market, by understanding the underlying processes of external technology commercialization (ECT).

New challenges for innovation systems: a cross country comparison

A policy to stimulate innovation led growth is examined. This growth is through increased commercialization of science by means of cross-country comparison of science funding and policies to stimulate knowledge transfer.
