Worrying about wireless: researchers are still unsure whether cellular phones are safe

Article Abstract:

Researchers are still unsure if the claim that low-power radiation emitted by cell phones causes cancer in users. Some scientists promote cautious use, based on evidence that the radiation can affect a child's brain more than an adult's, while others claim that any damage from the possible radiation is minimal.

The neutrino frontier

Article Abstract:

The Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia have outlined a ambitious plan to use some of the collider's parts to enhance a promising research program about the study of the mysterious neutrino, whose strange properties might provide clues to new laws of physics. Because neutrinos have no charge and interact with other particles only through the weak nuclear force and gravity, they pass through matter virtually unhindered and are devilishly difficult to detect.
