Femtosecond absorption spectroscopy of transition metal charge-transfer complexes

Article Abstract:

Application of femtosecond time-resolved absorption techniques to the study of the photo-physics of transition metal complexes is analyzed. The observations during the process of excited-state evolution till lowest-energy excited state system, and the dynamics involved in the charge transfer excited states of transition-metal polypyridyl chromophores are explained.

Inorganic-organic hybrid molecular architectures of cyanometalate host and organic guest systems: Specific behavior of the guests

Article Abstract:

Molecular architectures built of inorganic cyanometalate building blocks provide diversified host structures with several organic guest molecules and the strategies to derive novel structures are presented. The chemical pressure that the guest molecule experiences inside the cavity is also discussed based on the vibrational spectroscopic results.

Self-assembly of inorganic nanocrystals: Fabrication and collective intrinsic properties

Article Abstract:

Study demonstrates that the ordering of nanocrystals over long distances in 3D superlattices called supracrystals could lead to the emergence of collective intrinsic properties which could be used as masks for lithography.
