Functional characterization of colloidal phosphorus species in the soil solution of sandy soils

Article Abstract:

This study examines the impact that mobile colloids have on the movement of phosphorus in the subsurface environment, with soils excessively fertilized with animal manure subject to a high potential for subsurface P loss. The study was conducted by the Laboratory of Soil Fertility and Soil Biology, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium.
