How fast is technology evolving?

The advance of computer technology can be compared to the entire human evolution in terms of an exponential increase with respect to time. Technology, however, would continue to overtake human evolution, as people continue to keep in touch with their humanity in spite of the advances they may make with their technology.

The pursuit for better, stronger and more efficient sails have been remarkable over the years. From the traditional sails made of flax and cotton, saildesigners have come up with innovative fabrics such as polyester, laminates and kevlar.
